Title: Is there a simple "Multi-CD" emulator, just to "fool" the HU and use Aux. input? Post by: bart3012 on 25 Jan 2005, 17:36 This is my first post in any forum ever :D :D Vitat: thanx for the great work done in this forum, and thanx to everyone else who's contributed. I have a Pioneer HU (KEH-P1010) that has IP-BUS, but does not allow Aux. Input to be selected. I think that if I can "fool" the HU into thinking that there is a "Multi-CD" installed, then I would be able to use a home made RCA-to-IP-BUS cable to use the Aux. Input. I do not need the "Multi-CD" emulator to control the Bus protocol since I do not plan to control anything with the HU. Is there a simpler way to "fool" the HU, just to be able to use the Aux. Input??? Thanks in advaced. It's possible. But I don't have source code for this now. If you can, you can modify available source code for this.I have a Pioneer HU (KEH-P1010) that has IP-BUS, but does not allow Aux. On my Pioneer HU, I can activate the AUX function when the HU is OFF (car needs to be on). All I do is press and hold the 'F' key down for 4-5 seconds, then a menu appears on the screen where i can change different settings for the HU. Here I can change if the AUX is enabled. My HU is a Pioneer DEH-P4100 See picture in link: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pio/pe/vgn/images/portal/cit_3442/33704Dehp4100_big.jpg Hope it helps! :) |
