Title: Noise in radio Post by: spumanti on 12 Oct 2004, 14:01 Hi!
I have hooked my Yampp3 up to the IPbus (just audio). When the player is on, and I'm listening to radio, there is a LOT of noise in the radiosignal. Do you have any ideas of how to solve this problem? :o Title: Noise in radio Post by: Vitat on 12 Oct 2004, 15:15 Where your Power Source for yampp?

There is also a power out for CD changer (max 300 mA) that I can use, both make noise in the radio signal. Maybe I should shield my player in a metal case, and decouple the supply with some large capacitors... any other ideas? :? Title: Noise in radio Post by: Vitat on 12 Oct 2004, 16:35 I meen converter from 12V to 5V. And what converter you are using?
Title: Noise in radio Post by: spumanti on 12 Oct 2004, 16:44 The converter is built on to the Yampp3/USB, so it will work with anything within 7 - 18 Volts.
It is a MAX1626ESA. The schematic for ti is here: http://www.myplace.nu/mp3/images/yampp3u_sch_large.gif It is already well decoupled with all the capacitors. Maybe i have a EMC problem?!? Title: Noise in radio Post by: Vitat on 12 Oct 2004, 16:56 Quote aybe i have a EMC problem?!? I think yes. |
