Title: info about mp3&IPbus Post by: spumanti on 13 Oct 2004, 18:15 HI!
some questions:  :?: Can I have a display attached to the Yampp3/USB while using the IPbus connection? ( i want to be able to control the player from the autoradio, but still see the song info on my 4*20 LCD). Is the software for the Yampp3/USB (with IPbus) very different from the original software supplied from the Yampp software? Thanks! :) Title: info about mp3&IPbus Post by: Vitat on 15 Oct 2004, 13:31 I remove code for LCD from software to give more space.

Do you have a version with the LCD code still there?? Can I put it back in, or...? Title: info about mp3&IPbus Post by: Vitat on 15 Oct 2004, 19:12 No. I have not code with LCD for IP-Bus interface.
Maybe in future. Title: info about mp3&IPbus Post by: spumanti on 17 Oct 2004, 14:45 Have you just removed all the LCD code?
-Could I just put the code back in the firmware? (only need code for 4*20 char LCD). Thanks Title: info about mp3&IPbus Post by: Vitat on 18 Oct 2004, 13:59 Quote from: spumanti -Could I just put the code back in the firmware? I don't think so.Thanks Title: info about mp3&IPbus Post by: spumanti on 18 Oct 2004, 14:07 OK... :( -but why not? is it the serial communication to the HU that is the problem?
(i'll try anyway!) Another question: Does the Yampp3 stop to play when you switch from AUX to radio? (pressing the source button on the HU) -and the start to play when AUX is selected again? In other words: will the player keep playing while the HU is playing a CD, or recieving the radio? (still have a bit of EMC problems with the Yampp3. Only makes noise in the radio while playing mp3's) :) Title: info about mp3&IPbus Post by: Vitat on 18 Oct 2004, 15:03 When you switch from CD to Radio, yampp stop playing and HDD going in sleep mode.
Title: info about mp3&IPbus Post by: spumanti on 18 Oct 2004, 15:06 cool.. that's exactly what I need! :)
Then all I need is the source for the LCD back in the project! ... (if it's possible!) |
