Just a silly question:

All the IP-BUS times are in MICROSECONDS, not in MILISECONDS. Is that is correct?
I saw some information about some timming in MILISECONDS, but I believe the firmware of IP-BUS emulator is in MICROSECONDS.

I could understand the IP-BUS work with CAN interface, and the ATMega acts like a CAN controller to receive and send data do HU. The CAN interface chip just format the data to CAN bus.
So... can we use a CAN controller chip with ATMega? Can this make things easier, because we donґt have to worry about the CAN timming?

I don't have any knowledge about ATMega, but I know it's simple to work with. The truth is I have the all components at home, except the AVR, and I have a AT80C2051, a T89C51RD2 and a AT89S53 microcontrollers. I just want to use my stock devices.

Iґm trying to convert the IP-BUS emulator to a 8051 based CPU. I think is not very difficult, but maybe I need some help from you.
